Cold-Ship Products

In order to avoid exposure to extreme temperatures, the FDA requires that refrigerated pharmaceutical products be shipped in thermal insulated packaging with expedited delivery.  In addition, these cold ship items must be shipped separately from any other items in an order.

The Sigma products that are refrigerated and must be cold shipped are identified on the website with the cold ship icon above.

Sigma has implemented a flat shipping fee charge* to cover the shipping and packing materials for cold ship items in an order.  This shipping fee charge is in addition to the standard shipping charges for any other items in an order.  The fee is based on the total number of cold-ship bottles and/or boxes (any combination of cold-ship products) in an order.

Cold-Ship Fee (ships only on Monday, Tuesday or Wednesday)

1-6 Bottles/Boxes: $15.00
7 - 23 Bottles/Boxes: $20.00
24+ Bottles/Boxes: Cold-Ship Fee Waived

Overnight** Cold-Ship Fee (ships only on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday)

Any Quantity: $50.00


*Additional charges may apply for orders that are shipped outside of the 48 contiguous United States.

**If you select Overnight Delivery for your entire order, your cold-ship items will also be shipped with Overnight Delivery.
