Sali-Wipes™ are a new sterile wipe approved by the FDA that contain normal saline solution. The wipes can be used in conjunction with the Tono-System™ Cleaning Kit for both the pre-wiping of the tonometer tip prior to insertion into the blue disinfection tray and for the rinse wipe prior to drying the tip with gauze and inserting into the slit lamp.
The Sali-Wipes replace the two separate Opti-Kleen and Opti-Rinse Wipes used previously with the system.
